  3. Registered Address
    Provide a registered address located within the territory of Japan.
  4. Business Scope
    There are no special restrictions on the business scope of a Japanese company, which can be clearly specified in the articles of incorporation. It should be noted that certain special industries may require relevant licenses and certifications.
  5. Director and Shareholder Information
    A Japanese company must establish a board of directors with at least one director. Shareholders can be individuals or legal entities, with no nationality restrictions.

Japanese Company Registration Process

  1. Select a Company Name
    Prior to registering a Japanese company, a proposed name must be determined and verified to ensure its uniqueness and legality.
  2. Prepare Registration Documents
    Prepare the aforementioned documents, including the signing and notarization of the articles of incorporation, and the issuance of seal certificates for shareholders and representative directors.
  3. Inject Registered Capital
    Deposit the determined amount of registered capital into a designated bank account (generally a Japanese account held by shareholders/directors, or a collection account provided by a Japanese professional institution, etc.).
  4. Submit Registration Application
    File the registration application and relevant documents with Japan’s Legal Affairs Bureau.
  5. Review and Approval
    The Legal Affairs Bureau will review the registration application and supporting materials. If no issues are identified, the registration process will be approved.
  6. Obtain Business License
    After successful registration, obtain the Japanese company’s business license and related documents.
